MUSC 007 - Jazz Ensemble Provides music majors and other interested students experience in jazz techniques and literature. A large volume and wide variety of literature is played, discussed and evaluated as to its prospective use at the various levels of secondary and collegiate education. MUSC 098 - Remedial Music Theory An introductory course to acquaint incoming music students who possess little or no background in music theory with the fundamentals of that subject. These same fundamentals will be covered again in the first semester of Theory (MUSC 154), though at a much greater rate of speed.
