Need a quiet, private spot for a call or meeting? Reserve a Privacy Pod at the Crofton , Odenton , or Maryland City at Russett branches. Each pod seats two and includes a small surface for your laptop. According to Rachael Troianos Halbig, branch manager at the Crofton Library, their Privacy Pod has had more than 200 reservations since its installation in June 2025 and is used daily for everything from homeschooling to background check meetings. Customers can use the space for up to four hours, and Crofton and Odenton customers should reserve their preferred time in the meeting rooms section of the library’s website at www.aacpl.info/meetingrooms . Maryland City at Russett customers should call the branch to reserve. Some walk-ups also may be accommodated, pending availability.
