A DUTY TO REMEMBER On November 1, All Saints' Day, the day before All Souls' Day, Comte Gerald de TERRASSON de MONTLEAU re- turned to his roots in Saint-Estèphe in Charente, to the Andreaux family cemetery, a landmark and resting place of his ancestors who were celebrated in the region in which the branch of the family of “René”, the son of Henri, worked as winemakers and sold Cognac on the Andreaux family estate. In the Year XIII (1804), the Andreaux estate was bought by Alexandre René Gabriel de Terrasson de Montleau, once a page boy for King Louis XVI, a sub-lieutenant in the French Guards' regiment in 1789, and an "emigré" in 1790. Since the family line of the Terrasson de Montleau owned and worked on the ANDREAUX estate, the "Little Page", Alexandre de Terrasson Marquis de Montleau, is buried here, at rest in the tomb of Adrien de Terrasson Marquis de Montleau.
