Missions Minor Students taking this minor will be equipped to reflect on the historical, theological, cultural, and strategic realities that impact effective cross-cultural witness and service. As agents to effect the completion of the Great Commission these students will be prepared to exegete text (the Word of God), and context (culture), avoiding the mistakes of the past (history) while using the most effective means possible to advance the gospel (strategy). An Intercultural Studies Minor is offered with the completion of the courses listed below. Students must consult with a department advisor. • ANTH 200 - General Cultural Anthropology Unit(s): 3. and • 15 additional INCS units, 12 of which must be upper division. International Development Minor The International Development minor will provide students with the background, knowledge, and understanding to effectively interact with Christian development practitioners to meet the physical (health, education, housing, etc.) and spiritual needs of individuals. In addition, students will be equipped to work with a diversity of development organizations and other non-governmental and governmental organizations to address contemporary development issues. Minor Requirements The minor is offered with the completion of 18 units of specified Intercultural Studies and Anthropology courses and 3 specified units in a Bible elective.

The minor will equip students with the knowledge, understanding and skills needed to serve as Christian professionals in a broad range of vocations in diverse Islamic contexts.
