ARTS 475 - Culmination Course is a culmination of student ʼ s art practice, critical theory, and practical survival skills needed to become a professional artist. Meetings and discussions focus on the pragmatic elements of art production: grant writing, press relations, slide / portfolio presentation as well as discourse and critique of a final portfolio and exhibition. The senior exhibition requires developed artworks based on an integrated theme. Full statement of intent must be presented along with visual samples of ideas at the beginning of the semester, approved and signed by committee.
