In August 2025 our family acquired the Blacktop Farms complete Hereford herd dispersal. Steve and Lori Repenning of Blacktop Farms have been long time friends and mentors to our family. We have admired their commitment to building functional, maternal cows with genetics to produce terminally profitably cattle that can bring dollars back to a variety of operations. Steve and Lori’s philosophy have served as guiding principles through the development of our own cow herd. We strive to produce that same kind of cattle and are confident that the work Steve and Lori have done, pair tremendously with the direction Sleepy Hollow Farms is committed to.
The Repenning Family was honored by the South Dakota Hereford Association as Seedstock Breeder of the Year in 2023.
