MESSAGE FROM PROVINCE CHAPLAIN

FAITH OVER FEAR

In the New Testament, Jesus repeatedly tells His followers not to be afraid. In John 14:27, He says, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid." Jesus offers us a peace that surpasses all understanding, a peace that can calm our fears and guide us through any storm. I encourage each of you to consider the following steps to overcome fear when it arises in your lives: 1. Prayer: Start each day with prayer, asking God to fill your heart with faith and to dispel any fear. Lay your worries at His feet and trust in His plan for your life. 2. Scripture Reading: Immerse yourself in God’s Word. Find strength and comfort in the promises found in the Bible. Memorize verses that speak to your heart and repeat them during times of fear. 3. Fellowship: Surround yourself with a community of believers. Share your fears and pray for one another. There is power in unity and mutual support. 4. Service: Focus on helping others. Acts of kindness and service can shift your perspective from your fears to the needs of others, reminding you of God’s work in the world. 5. Faith Declarations: Speak words of faith over your life. Affirm your trust in God’s protection, provision, and guidance. Declare that fear has no place in your heart. As we journey together in faith, let us remember that we are not alone. We have each other and, most importantly, we have a God who is greater than any fear we may face. Stand firm in your faith, brothers, and let us encourage one another to live boldly and fearlessly in Christ.

Greetings My Brothers in the Bond,

I greet you all in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, I write to you with a message that resonates deeply within our spiritual journey: Faith Over Fear. In our lives, we often encounter moments that challenge our faith and stir up fear within us. These moments may come in the form of personal struggles, family issues, health concerns, or uncertainties about the future. However, as men of faith, we are called to rise above these fears and place our trust in God’s unwavering promises. The Bible is rich with verses that encourage us to choose faith over fear. Isaiah 41:10 reminds us, "So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand." This powerful promise assures us that we are never alone, and God’s strength is always available to us.
