Identify and explain the most significant developments and principles of the social sciences, depending on the student’s concentration (ULO1). 2. Apply principles of the field of social science to current issues and social problems through the lens of faith integration (ULO3). 3. Critique and evaluate social institutions from a global and multicultural perspective (ULO2). This course concentration provides students an opportunity to study crime and related issues from a social scientific perspective, infusing themes of social justice, Christian ethics, and recognizing social inequalities present within the criminal justice system.
