1 Political Science majors may not count POSC 250 or POSC 256 towards the Minor, and instead must take an additional upper division elective. No more than 6 credits from the major may count toward this minor. Science and Theology Minor Mission The mission of the Science and Theology minor is to provide students with a greater depth in the philosophy and history of science than is available in a standard science curriculum. This affords the student a rich background and context to best integrate science and theology. Curriculum Requirements A Science and Theology minor is available to students who are Chemistry, Physics, Engineering or Biology department majors, who take the following courses:

The Secondary Education minor meets the majority of requirements for the California Preliminary Single Subject Teaching Credential. Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation Minor Mission The mission of the Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation minor at Biola is to equip students with the unique tools for advocacy that they will need to effectively engage in integral mission marked by both the proclamation and demonstration of the Gospel to the "lost," the "least" and the "last." The minor encourages participants to carefully consider how our proclamation has social consequences and our social involvement has evangelistic consequences. Curriculum Requirements A Social Justice, Human Rights and Conflict Transformation minor is offered with the completion of 18 credits of approved courses, 12 of which must be upper-division (excluding BBST 465); with an average grade of "C" or better.
