Childhood Cancer Awareness Month City council decided on August 10 that the month of September would now be known as Child- hood Cancer Awareness Month. Cancer is the leading disease-related cause of death for children in Canada, taking the life of 135 children every year. In 2014, two children were diagnosed with cancer. A flag will therefore be flown over city hall for the whole of September and city departments, businesses and residents will be encouraged to “paint” the city gold in order to show support and encouragement for all children fighting the disease. – Francis Racine Début du projet Soirée Francofilm L’ACFO-SDG invite la population à profiter du plein air tout en écoutant un film.
