ISCL 890 - Ph.D. Dissertation Field Research Enrolling in ISCL 890 for 1 to 6 credits constitutes full-time status. However, dissertation work constitutes full-time status only for a total of four semesters. Credit(s): 1 - 6. ISCL 891 - Ph.D. Dissertation Proposal This course facilitates the development and refinement of the doctoral dissertation proposal through preparation, presentation and critique of proposal drafts and examination and discussion of issues related to dissertation research. Credit(s): 3. ISCL 892 - Ph.D. Continuous Research Enrolling in ISCL 892 constitutes full-time status. However, dissertation work constitutes full-time status only for a total of four semesters. Fee: $100. Credit(s): 0. ISCL 893 - Leave of Absence For students who have been granted an official leave of absence from the program. Fee: $15. Credit(s): 0. ISCL 895 - D.Miss. Research Seminar In-depth investigation of a topic under the guidance of the Intercultural Studies department using standard research procedures. Topic selection and course enrollment is by department approval. Note(s): Elective. Credit(s): 1 - 3. ISCL 896 - Ph.D. Research Seminar Specialized research topics are examined critically in consider able detail with attention to the supporting literature on each topic. Note(s): May be repeated under a different topic. Credit(s): 1 - 3. ISCL 897 - Research Seminar Discussion and application of the central areas of Christian Ministry & Leadership research and related fields of study. Instruction in research methodology, including the identification of a problem, the steps taken to resolve it, and writing the results.
