Two Bible electives. Residency Requirement Biola has a residency requirement for biblical studies. Of the 30 credits of Bible required of all students, 15 credits must be taken at Biola. Students may petition the Registrar’s Office for an exception to this rule. Transfer credit, credit for prior learning or credit by examination may not be used to fulfill the minimum residency requirement. Majors other than Biblical &Theological Studies or Christian Education may count a maximum of 30 credits toward graduation. Biblical &Theological Studies Minor Students who complete the 30-credit General Bible Requirement at Biola qualify for a minor in Bible. This minor is displayed on the transcript if the student declares the minor on the graduation petition. There is a residency requirement for receipt of the Bible minor; students must complete a minimum of 15 credits at Biola. Of these 15 credits in residency, 6 credits must be selected from the required upper division courses listed below. Transfer credit, credit for prior learning and credit by examination may not be used to fulfill the minimum residency requirement.
