Day two: Sunday 21 July
Keynote address 10am – 11am
Beyond BAU: Embracing sustainable value creation for tomorrow’s success Room 1.05 Business as usual is no longer an option. The new pathway to driving competitive advantage and profitable growth lies in firms that redefine and strengthen their sustainable offerings and brands. These firms must authentically respond to emerging client demands and contribute to a just transition, encompassing both social and environmental dimensions. Long-term returns, profitability, and overall performance will materialise more rapidly for companies that establish genuine narratives, offerings, and brands that truly resonate with their clients. In this session, Michelle Sartorio will share insights and experiences on how companies can unlock tangible and intangible value by addressing evolving customer needs and navigating today’s complex economic landscape. She will delve into four main topics: the importance of brave leadership and diverse thinking; the role of sustainability and social and climate impact integration into a business’s fabric; the significance of authentic and purpose-driven communications as key drivers of reputation and financial performance; and the importance of building go-to-market strategies that enhance both topline and earnings, while fostering long-term prosperity.
