Ruchi Sankrit Manager, Intellecap

Sean Rach Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate at Warwick Business School Sean Rach is a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate at the Warwick Business School. He currently advises several startup businesses. He is a co-founder of hi and was the founding Chief Marketing Officer of Crypto. com. He served as Chief Marketing Officer of Prudential Corporation Asia and championed integrated marketing solutions across Asia. With a passion for CSR/ESG, he created the Cha- Ching (a multi-media financial literacy program in partnership with Cartoon Network and Dr. Alice Wilder) and Safe Steps (Natural Disasters, Road Safety, First Aid in partnership with NatGeo, the Red Cross, and the FIA) platforms. A digital marketing and customer management pioneer, he was Managing Director of OgilvyOne Hong Kong, with clients including American Express, Hong Kong Disneyland, Venetian Macao, BlackRock, Hong Kong Jockey Club, and SmarTone. In addition, he has held marketing positions with Sprint and Hallmark Cards.

Ghadafi is a passionate sustainability advocate and researcher whose interests cut across an array of Sustainable Supply Chain Management issues such as: cascading sustainability practices through upstream supply chain tiers; navigating the corporate social responsibility paradox; combatting modern slavery; reducing plastic packaging in the food industry; and exploring the sustainability-resilience paradox. He has extensively engaged industry throughout his academic career including a recent UKRI Smart Sustainable Plastic Packaging Challenge project involving industrial workshops and a 5-month participatory research with a meat processor in the UK. Ghadafi is also at the forefront of research in the business landscape of Sub-Saharan African markets including a recent case study of smallholder farmers’ traceability and sustainability practices in Ghana. His research outputs have been presented at industrial and academic conferences, talks and panel discussions including the UK Industry and Parliament Trust Dinner (IPT Events, 2023) and the Global Research and Innovation in Plastics (GRIPS, 2023). Prior to his stint in academia, Ghadafi has worked in multiple logistics and supply chain management roles in agribusiness, healthcare and retail sectors of Ghana, USA and the UK.

Ruchi, an alumna of Warwick Business School with an MBA specialising in entrepreneurship, brings over 15 years of experience driving market solutions to social problems. She also holds a master’s degree in Social Work. Now, she channels her expertise into Intellecap, a firm focused on building and scaling enterprises for social and environmental change in the Global South. At Intellecap, Ruchi manages projects at the intersection of gender and livelihood in Asia and Africa. She provides technical, research, and advisory support to businesses, philanthropies, and enterprises working with marginalised communities. Currently, Ruchi is collaborating with agriculture and textile enterprises in Kenya to gender mainstream their supply chain, workplace, and products and services. She is also working with modern energy cooking enterprises to leverage climate finance and innovative models to reduce the care workload of women and girls. Before her MBA, Ruchi made a significant impact with SEWA, the world’s largest trade union for women workers in the informal economy. She led initiatives addressing labour rights, energy access, urban poverty, and sustainable cities.
