Rachel’s 20-plus year career in sustainability has taken her around the world –working with cross-cultural teams in over 100 countries in government, business, multilateral institutions, and civil society. She is a sought-after conference speaker for industry associations, universities, and foundations and the author of over 20 publications, including a book about sustainability in the museums sector. Rachel’s adventures in sustainability have included bringing together a billionaire and a farmer to build an elementary school garden that later evolved into a leading environmental education centre—and a Michelin-starred restaurant; founding Greener Museums, a sustainability consultancy serving the cultural sector; and her latest role as the founding Sustainability and Impact Director and Board Executive Director at Luminous, a strategic communications agency serving companies primarily in the UK and Europe.
