on the indicated booth and a short bio and their contact information is brought up in a side column. Contact the ones you want to see and make an appointment as soon as possible as their schedule may get booked up by showtime. Once you are registered for the show, there is an interac- tive online planning tool called “My Show Planner” to not only plan out your schedule with exhibitors and seminars but also view updates and show-only specials. Another useful tool to keep your schedule organized is the DEMA Show Mobile App, which allows you to build out your schedule of appointments and other events, sem- inars, or meetings so that you can keep track and not over- book. A quick look at the floorplan can tell you if it is feasible to get from one side of the exhibit hall to another in time to make your next appointment or seminar. The app allows you to bookmark booths and events you want to see, as well as access information about them and navi- gation tools to let you find them. Planning future dive travel If you were able to secure appointments to book the next few years of dive travel for your business, then you should now have additional time at the show to check out future options for dive trips. Depending upon your client’s areas of interest, the DEMA Show has seven “pavilions” of ge- ographically associated destination booths (Indonesia, Be- lize, Bonaire, Bahamas, South Pacific, Micronesia, and Bay Islands of Honduras), plus additional separated destina- tions and dive boat operations scattered across the exhibit hall that can all be found on the interactive floorplan map. To learn more about future dive destinations, the DEMA Show has a full lineup of exhibitor seminars in presentation rooms and on the show floor where you can dive deeper into potential sites around the world where you can lead your clients to new adventures. There is often time set aside at the end of each seminar presentation for questions if you need more information to see if the dive operation is right for your clientele. Some even offer a drawing for a free trip at their location. As everyone is taught in scuba: “Plan your dive and dive your plan.” The same holds true for navigating the DEMA DEMA SHOW

Show when you follow the “seven Ps.” “Proper prior planning prevents pitiful-poor performance.” So, make your plans now and have a successful show!
