Carnaby Magazine Issue 4

Welcome

Hi, I’m Michelle of @crazycatladyldn , and I’m here to welcome you to Issue 4 of the Carnaby Magazine. I built my Instagram around sharing photos of the prettiest places in London, and naturally Carnaby is one of my favourites. Here are my top five Insta-worthy spots, all of which will be sure to set your like count sky-high. As a music and fashion lover, Carnaby Street was at the top of my list of places to visit long before I moved to London. Made famous in the swinging 60s, Carnaby remains iconic and influential, and the pedestrianised streets are home to unique and independent fashion and lifestyle stores that boast some seriously Instagrammable moments. Get snap-happy in Daniel Wellington’s apartment-style store or at one of my personal favourites, Monki (don’t miss their iconic rainbow staircase), or head to the cobbled Newburgh Quarter, where Lazy Oaf showcases cool collabs in the basement. With the cooler weather approaching, Carnaby has you covered with the best Winter Warmers , from a colourful cuppa at Farm Girl Café (they do those cute rose lattes) to something a little stronger at underground bar Cahoots in Kingly Court, where you can enjoy cocktails and rations in a London wartime setting.

Speaking of food, Carnaby is a one-stop hub for foodies. Lust after Carnaby’s sharing plates at The Big Feast , devour an exclusive interview with Hamish Brown, head chef of Carnaby newbie INKO NITO , and check out 24 hours in Carnaby to discover the best places to eat, drink and shop as revealed by the locals.

And there you have it: food, fashion, music and much more. I hope you enjoy this issue as much as I have.

Now you’ve seen my fave Insta-spots of Carnaby, it’s time to see yours. Share your moments with @ CarnabyLondon .
