position. However, we realize that He that is with us is more than all they who are against us, and so we go on, knowing that they who sow in tears shall bear precious sheaves to the throne of God. In closing, would say that I consider the article on ‘Is the Antichrist at Hand?’ the best article on that subject I have ever read, and wish it could be printed in pamphlet form for circulation among some of these dry bones.” Is there not some High School stu dent, some minister, some S. S. teacher among your acquaintances who would be Just as delighted to know about The King’s Business as were those whose letters we have quoted? Then, tell them about it and bring a blessing to yourself, to the friend, and to The King’s Business. LESSON TWENTY-TWO Last month we examined, somewhat in detail, the peculiar beliefs of The osophy, “ The Wisdom Religion," as to the Bible, Man, God and Sin. Here are some suggestions fot meeting these er rors with the Scripture: In dealing with a Theosophlst it would no doubt be well to admit that they have some plausible and helpful teaching, but the basis of their doc trine is wrong. For the placing of other “ sacred” writings on a par with the Scriptures, is a basic error. One of the first things is to show from the Scriptures that the Bible claims to be the inspired Word of God. No other book claims this. If any one disputes that the Bible is the inspired Word of God, they must prove their assertion. Taking up these erroneous doctrines of Theosophy in order, the following suggestions and Scriptures will be helpful: (1 ) THE BIBLE: The sure Word of God. A book that has outlived all attacks against it; which, ages before Christ, foretold all the details of His birth and death, and the history of the Jews until this present day, with per fect accuracy. Use the following Scriptures (2 Tim. 3 :16 ): “All Scripture Is Riven by Inspiration of God, and Is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for Instructlop In rlffbtcousnessi tbat tbe man of God may be perfect, tbronffbly furnlsbed unto all good works/9 (Heb. 4 :12 ): “Tbe Word of God Is quick and power ful, sharper than any two-edged sword, plerdnff even to the dividing: asunder of soul and spirit, and of the Joints and marrow, and is . a dlscerner of the thoughts and Intents of the heart,9 • (Matt. 5 :1 8 ): “For verily I way unto yoa, one Jot or one tittle nhall In no wise pa«* from the law till all be fulfilled.”

AN HONEST CONFESSION Some members of “ Our Family" have asked why the.lesson on “ Mor- monism" in the December issue was not completed in the January issue, as promised, and we frankly confess that this was due to an oversight which we greatly regret and which will be corrected. However, inasmuch as the lesson on “ Theosophy" which was begun last month was also left incomplete, it seems wise to go on with that in this issue; but “ Mormonism” will surely be finished in June, when we will give their teaching on such doctrines as the Bible, Sin, the Atonement, the Or dinances, Baptism, etc., the Priest hood, relation to Civil Government, Polygamy ahd Marriage, and Modern Miracles. THE JOY OF INTERCESSION We are glad whenever any of our "Defenders” tell us they wish to or ganize a Prayer Circle in their neigh borhood, for eternity alone will reveal what the results may be, but the poem we are giving you this month, “ Help ing Together By Prayer,” beautifully and forcefully expresses the possibili ties. Just write to us for a list of mem bers of The King’s Business Family in your town, or perhaps several small towns in the same neighborhood, and we will gladly respond. You will remember the suggestion made by one “ Defender” last January that a certain day each month be set aside for special prayer so that, as she said, “ on the same day we could pray for more strength and guidance in the great work to which the Master has called us.” We suggested the third Monday in each month for this pur pose, and this day can be observed by every “ Defender,” whether a mem ber of any special Prayer Circle or not. Special Requests for Prayer We shall always be glad to print any special requests for prayer, and one is now before us from Oklahoma. The writer says: “ We frequently notice in The King’s Business (the greatest publication in the world outside of the Bible) appeals to the ’Defenders of the Faith’, and for years we have hungered for a closer fellowship with all the ‘Defend ers of the Faith’, but so far our foot steps have been directed along a lonely pathway. * * * Now under the direc tive hand Of our God we have a great family in this little place and He is blessing beyond anything we ever dreamed of. Twelve were saved in our last Sunday morning service, and the work has just begun. Enroll us as a ‘Defender of the Faith.’ If we ever go down it will be waving the blood stained Banner of the Cross.”

“ HELPING TOGETHER BY PRAYER” I like to feel that though on earth We never meet, Yet we may hold heart-fellow ship At God’s dear feet. I like to feel in all the work Thou hast to do, That I, by lifting hands of prayer, May help thee too. I like to think that in the path His love prepares, T h y s t e p s may sometimes stronger prove Through secret prayers. I like to think that when on high Results we see, Perchance thou wilt rejoice that I Thus prayed for thee. — Selected.

Have a share in the work of this • good brother by praying for continued and increasing blessing upon his min istry. Increasing Our Circulation Don’t forget that one of the very best ways to “ Defend the Faith” is by extending the circulation of The King’s Business. Every issue is pack ed full of the most effective “ ammuni tion” possible. When we read some of the enthusiastic letters from new subscribers we wonder why we do not have a subscription list of at least 500,000. Just read this from a High School boy in Turlock, California: “ Enclosed find $1.25 for a year’s subscription to The King’s Business! I picked up the March number at my aunt’s and found the contents to be just the thing I need. I am a High School student, but know that Christ has called me for His work, and am convinced The King’s Business will be a great help to me.” And this from a Congregational minister in Massachusetts: "A few days ago I received the Jan uary and February numbers of The King’s Business. I do not know who sent them to me, but I am very much pleased with them. You do not know how much I enjoyed reading these copies, for my heart aches many times for the communion and fellowship of those who still hold to the old faith. * • * Though my dear wife and myself are trying to preach a full Gospel mes sage, yet there seems to be strong op-
