THE JEW: The Source of the World’s Salvation and Sorrow (Continued from page 262)

Christ, with Israel as the co-reigning power over this world. But we have pot done our duty. We have not presented the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the only method of salvation, to the Jew. He has been persecuted. That was logical. He had to be per secuted. But, my friends, he would not be persecuted if you and I, conse crated Christian men, were taking the Gospel of Jesus Christ, the blood of Jesus, to the Jew and offering Christ to him individually. I love the Jew individually and collectively. Let us do our duty to him. Oh, lost Gentile and lost Jew, won’t you take-my Saviour? Won’t you take Him who is called Jesus, yo'ur King, because you wili be a member of His Bride, as well as a part of His reigning power, when He reigns supreme over this world for a thousand years? • Mi. • ! M M BAPTIST BIBLE UNION HOLDS FOURTH ANNUAL MEETING The Fourth Annual Meeting of the Baptist Bible Union of North Amer ica will be held in the Metropolitan Baptist Church, Sixth and A Streets, N. E., and in the Washington Auditor ium, Nineteenth and E Streets and New York Avenue, Washington, D.C., May 19 to- 24, 1926, immediately pre ceding the Northern Baptist Conven tion, to be held in the same city. The list of speakers is unusually strong, including such well known Fundamentalists as Dr. John Roach Straton, of New York City; Dr. W. B. Riley of Minneapolis; Dr. J. Frank Norris, Ft: -Worth, Texas ; Dr. T. T. Shields, Toronto ; Dr. George Ragland, Lexington, Ky.; Dr. J. J. Van Gorder, Butler, Pa.; Dr..Oliver W. Van Osdel, Grand Rapids, Mich., etc. The Executive Committee of the B. B. U. have reserved rooms at the Raleigh Hotel (Pennsylvania Avenue and Twelfth Street), and friends who are expecting to attend may write the hotel direct and make their own reser vations. Me. Me. M M “ SEEKEST THOU GREAT THINGS?” Though small the sphere Assigned thee here,

Then why waste time, Jew, in all of your rationalism? Why cease to be a blessing to the world by your Bolshe vism and socialism, and all other ismg and rationalism? Don't follow Spi noza; don’t follow Marx; don’t follow those who reject Christ- But, oh, individual Jew, let me beg you to accept Christ, that you may be with me a member in the body of Christ. (4) To the Jew First! We are not following the order of the'Gospel. It is our business to carry the message to the Jew first, and then to the world. It was His business to carry the Gospel to tfye Jew first, and to the world. It is your business, as a converted Christian, a regenerated man, a child of God, to carry the Gos- pel to the Jew, and you do not do it. You . have neglected him. » Russia, falling into the hands of twenty-four Jews, is in hell today. The Roman Church today is aiding and abetting the hellward trend under the Bolsheviks of Russia, so that the Greek Church may become so discour aged and so completely wrecked) that Rome may put her hand on Russia. That is the practical conspiracy. What are you going to do about it? My friends, it is your fault that the Gospel of Jesus Christ has not been given to Russia. It is your f&ult that the Gospel of Jesus Christ is not given to the Jew all over the world. There are two million Jews in New . York City, and just one dr two little mis sions. That glorious people, how I love them! I love them nationally,. I love them individually,' I love the pro phecy about them; I love the steps of that prophecy yet to be taken; I love the glorious statement that we will ultimately be established under Jesus

Take up thy task And do thy best; But do not ask Severer test.

The smallest charge May prove too large At Christ’s great quest; When all must tell Not where they laboured, But how well!
