THE KING’S BUSINESS

God for such mothers. This young man is giving his testimony among his friends and has written to his brother and is trying to bring him to the feet of the Master. Re member the oil fields especially at this time as we want' by prayer, preaching and per sonal work to hasten His appearing. T he month of November has been a busy one. Men are flocking in for the winter and need work. If any of our city subscribers need help, please let us know. We can furnish you men that want work. We fed fourteen thousand men last winter. Re member the “Bean Fund," which we use in providing for these meals which' makes it possible for us to reach many men. Indians, Mexicans, Catholics, I. W. W.’s and all kinds of men have professed salvation— thirty-nine in all. A good number of the converts are showing up well and act as though they mean business. “By their fruits ye shall know them.” God knows them by their faith, but we only know them by their works. When the two tally, it is good proof. Each one of these converts has made an open confession of Jesus Christ. May He that is able keep them to the end. “Are you, too, saved?” The reply was, "I joined a church at seven years of age, but do not understand a thing you have been talking about or how to be saved.” The way was made plain from the Word and she was soon rejoicing that she might know she was really a saved woman. A B ible class is being held by one of our Bible women in the home of a Christian woman. It is just a neighborhood class, the women gathering to spend one hour a week over the Word. Everybody must bear some of the burden. We are not giving -beds or food to drunken men, but are trying to help the deserving. A leader of free speech, an I. W. W., . became sick of sin, saw his need of Jesus Christ, avowed the faith of Christ and came out safe-footed. We also know of another I. W. W. who has broken away from the gang and accepted Christ. Pray much for these men. They are on a "hot plate” as far as their old associates are concerned. It means running the gauntlet. A Roman ist, who said his only confession heretofore was to the priest, found Christ on Thanks giving day. Eight years a drunkard, he made his confession to the One who can forgive sin and make him a new creature. Z”'' OD has honored the teaching of His Word in one Bible class by turning some from the error of Christian Science and especially fitting one woman to work among some neighbors who are getting in terested in “Science,” but willing to listen to the Word from her. She says she can not be grateful enough that she knows how to meet them now. C alling one day we found a dear old saint not able any more to leave her home, but so glad to talk a while about the Mas ter. A neighbor was sitting with her and finally the worker turned to her and said,
