C loth ....___________ $2.00 The author quotes from a number of books which were in circulation in Paul’s time, and from which he may have obtained many of his ideas con cerning the things which are to trans pire before Christ’s second coming. C lo t h ______ $1.75 This book points out the difference between the worship in the synagogue and the rites of the temple service. Christ’s church was patterned accord ing to the worship conducted in the synagogue, and continued thus during the first three centuries. Roman Cath olic service became almost the same as the temple service. The Episcopal service is in many respects the same, and such is the case with all the Re formed churches to some extent. The author advocates a return to the prim itive method in which all the members were, or might be, evangelists having only one leader, the pastor. In the appendix the methods of work in the Carrubber Close Mission are des cribed.
