The role will also work cohesively to co- ordinate engagement and consultation with other departments including Technology, Projects, Sustainability, Finance and HR to ensure project direction and planning are aligned. Responsibilities include: • Responsibility for organising, tracking progress of work streams relating to the facilities/operational elements of a new building project • Ensuring all stakeholders are fully aware of their responsibilities and work. • Identifying and monitoring key actions and tracking progress of the actions • Contributing to the development of new processes for capturing, sharing, and communicating elements of the new building project specific to UK Operations • Collating information and monitoring the client direct purchases relating to Ropemaker In addition to Ropemaker specific project coordination responsibilities, the role-holder will also look for opportunities to develop the UK Operations project processes and support pilots of new technology whilst at Silk Street.
This is a unique opportunity within the UK Operations team where the role-holder will work across the various operational subject areas and bring project coordination/ management expertise to enhance the delivery of operations. On joining the team, this role will facilitate and support the successful delivery of all UK Operation led workstreams in the design, operation and move to Ropemaker.
THE TEAM
Day to day Operations manage the effective running and maintenance of the London and Colchester premises ensuring staff and clients receive a seamless service in a safe and comfortable environment. Operations provide a range of support services which are designed to make working life easier for our people and clients. The team operate 24/7 365 days a year and consist of a core in house team of 15 people with c.300 outsourced staff running the onsite services. The team are growing the global Operations network establishing more global consistency with our Operations colleagues around the world, enabling and creating more strategic projects and global experiences for our people. Additionally, Operations are part of the Ropemaker project team and responsible for the delivery of several work streams in the design, operation and move to Ropemaker.
Key workstreams for Ropemaker will include:
• Future service delivery model – this will include working with the in-house teams and service providers to develop the way in which our people will use the building and the services within • Operational readiness, getting the building and services ready for our people. This will also include the physical exit of Silk Street and migration to Ropemaker • Handing back Silk St to the landlord – ensuring all lease obligations are adhered to The role will work closely with UK Operations colleagues and workstream leads to guide and support successful outcomes for the projects that UK Operations have responsibility to deliver.
