Tusk Trip
Read the scientists’ notebook to see how to get a mammoth out of the ground. Number the pictures in the correct order.
One day, a man was out hunting in Siberia, when suddenly he tripped! Looking down, he saw that he had tripped over a tusk! A mammoth tusk! Scientists came to study the tusk and found that it was attached to an entire frozen prehistoric mammoth. Trying to dig up the mammoth proved difficult. The frozen ground, or permafrost, was as hard as cement!
