Followup: There were four women who traveled on that trip. Starting in Tuscany they stayed at a wonderful agriturismo, went on to Certaldo to photograph the wedding and searched high and low for the vineyard that was named on the label. But all to no avail. They never could find it, and even in the town of Marcialla with it’s 500 residents no one seemed to know, however there was a language barrier. Kim even showed some people the bottle, for you see, she had carefully wrapped and brought the bottle back to the town it came from. Though they never found the vineyard the bottle was like an extra traveler, for its existence certainly dictated a bit of their travel and gave them wonderful memories. They found plenty of vineyards to explore and the bottle served its purpose in helping Kim make her decision to travel to Italy. They went to Nice, the Cote d’ Azur, a small beach town in France, and then to Paris. It was an amazing experience. That last night in Paris Kim wrapped the bottle, returned to the US and it now resides in her home.
