ARIZONA Top Stop: Canyon De Chelly ≈1 hour 40 minutes from Four Corners
Top Stop: Canyon de Chelly has towering cliffs and shallow caves, and, like Mesa Verde, ancient Ancestral Puebloan dwellings nestled among them. This area has a rich cultural history that spans more than 4,000 years. This national monument offers breathtaking views and has been called a “smaller Grand Canyon” in the past.

NEW MEXICO Top Stop: Chaco Culture National Historic Park ≈2 hours 35 minutes from Four Corners Through guided tours, hiking and biking trails, night sky programs, and evening campfire talks, Chaco Culture National Historic Park is a beautiful place to visit with the family. Keep in mind that Chaco Canyon is a sacred and deeply personal place for many indigenous people throughout the Southwest, so visit with respect.
