COLORADO Route: Driving Through Colorado US Highway 285 -> US-160 West ≈420 miles, 7 hours 30 minutes from Denver Top Stop: Mesa Verde National Park ≈1 hour 30 minutes from Four Corners Mesa Verde National Park is like no other in Colorado. The ancient cliff dwellings provide a peek into the past of the Ancestral Pueblo peo- ple who built thriving communities on the mesas and cliffs. There are tours, hikes, camp spots, and RV sites throughout the park to make it an easy stop on your way to the Four Corners. Route: Driving Through Utah Interstate 70 -> US 161 South. ≈500 miles, 7 hours 50 minutes from Denver Top Stop: Moab ≈2 hours 35 minutes from Four Corners From exhilarating hikes through Arches National Park to heart-pound- ing mountain bike trails, Moab offers an array of unique adventures. If you decide to drive through Utah’s red rock landscapes to get to the Four Corners, be aware of the stretches through the desert that have few and far between gas stations.
