B, D DAY 5: VERDE CANYON RAILROAD Spend the day riding the rails and be transported to a simpler, more leisurely time away from the distractions of the modern world. Enjoy Ales on the Rails* beer festival on the Verde Canyon Railroad. You have lunch and an opportunity to sample Arizona craft beers at the depot prior to your canyon excursion. B, L * Participants must be 21 years of age to enjoy the Ales on Rails tasting package. Children and non-drinkers are welcome to have lunch and ride the train without the beer tasting. DAY 6: GRAND CANYON Start your visit to the Grand Canyon with a showing of “Grand Canyon: Rivers of Time” on a giant IMAX screen before collecting your picnic lunch and proceeding to the South Rim of the Canyon. Much of the day is yours to explore this awe-inspiring site at your leisure. You will make several stops as you head east out of the park toward Cameron, AZ. Learn about the Escalante and Dominguez Pueblos and see some of the first ruins ever discovered in the state.
