Instructions for: Metal Mugs
1. Print your design in mirror image on Sublimation paper and with a sublimation printer and ink. 2. Heat your press-up with an old metal or ceramic mug inside to 190°C. Use light pressure, or just enough so that the metal bottle/mug does not lose shape. If you are using a craft tumbler mug press, make sure both the pressure knobs are set on the same pressure. Set the time of the press according to the table provided here:

3. Cut out your design and secure it with heat tape to the product. REMOVE THE LID FROM THE PRODUCT AND ENSURE NO PLASTIC COMES INTO CONTACT WITH THE HEATING ELEMENT OF THE PRESS. REMOVE ANY PLASTIC BOTTOMS IF APPLICABLE, OR LET IT STICK OUT OF THE PRESS. DO NOT PLACE ANY PLASTIC PARTS IN THE HEAT PESS/OVEN. AS THEY WILL MELT.
4. When the temperature is ready, remove the old mug that you have used to heat the press and insert the metal mug product with print into the press. Press for the given time.
5. When time is up, remove the metal product from the press and immediately remove the print. ** If you are doing a full wrap-around print, open the press after the time is up, then turn the bottle around and press again for 30 seconds. You may put it in cold water to cool down after it is pressed.
