s arah and adam’s is a true 21st century love story, since the pair met online in 2018. They dated for just over a year, until Adam popped the question on his birthday, September 13, after dinner in front of the Kentucky Castle in Lexington. Although Sarah is from Barboursville and Adam is from Greenup, Kentucky, the couple chose Annie Lane Wedding and Event Resort in Chesapeake, Ohio, as their venue. The ceremony took place on the lawn in front of a beautiful gazebo and pond. The bride wore a lace, ivory-colored Mori Lee dress with a train and open back. As she was escorted down the aisle by her father to “Pachelbel’s Canon,” Adam, in a navy blue suit, stood beaming. The couple exchanged traditional vows, and the groom’s father officiated the ceremony. The newlyweds joined family and friends at the reception, where Sarah and Adam had their first dance to Thomas Rhett’s “Blessed,” performed by the bride’s sister. Then came the cake-cutting ceremony. The mother of the bride designed the three-layer wedding cake with white buttercream icing and the two-layer chocolate groom’s cake with chocolate icing, decorated with live blush pink and white roses to match the ceremony’s flower arrangements. After celebrating with their guests to entertainment provided by BRAVO-Live DJ & Lighting Extravaganza, Sarah and Adam honeymooned in Destin, Florida, before returning to their home in Ashland, Kentucky. Sarah is a registered nurse at Kings Daughters Medical Center in Ashland, Kentucky and Adam is a chemical operator at Marathon Petroleum.
