kasey and payton began forever together at the beautiful 100-acre venue The Barn at the Olde Homestead in Ona. The outdoor ceremony was held on a spectacular 4,500-square-foot stone patio with 1800s-vintage church windows, and a 4,600-square-foot barn held the magnificent reception. The couple had a whimsical fairytale ceremony accompanied by cello and violin. Every detail of the day was planned perfectly by the bride and her mother. The wedding was centered around love and family and included treasured antiques from among the bride’s and groom’s family heirlooms, including an antique buffet as the registration table. The wedding cake was displayed on an antique sewing machine adorned with a crocheted tablecloth made by the bride’s grandmother, and a white vintage couch, an antique sofa table, and antique brass candelabras made a breathtaking front-and-center spot for the couple at the reception. The flower girl, the niece of the bride, wore a crown belonging to the bride from the Miss Teen West Virginia Pageant. Their closest family and friends made for a stunning wedding party of 21 along with the ringbearer, flower girl, and dog of honor—the couple’s Yorkie, Bullet. Guests were served an Italian dinner and refreshments from Short and Stout Mobile Bar, an antique horse trailer mobile bar. After the couple’s first dances, speeches, and toasts, guests joined the couple on the dance floor to celebrate. The last song everyone sang arm-in-arm was “Take Me Home, Country Roads” before sending the couple off. The couple enjoyed a 15-day honeymoon to Rome and Venice, Italy; Santorini and Mykonos, Greece; Bar, Montenegro; and Dubrovnik, Croatia, before returning home to Ripley. The bride is a dietetics major at Marshall University, and the groom is a licensed funeral home director at the family-owned and -operated Waybright Funeral Home in Ripley.
