alexis had a choice to make during her third year of interior design school: study abroad for a semester, or seek an internship in her field. She chose the second option and landed an internship opportunity at Wells Home Furnishings in 2018. Jason happens to be the co-owner of the furniture store, and it was practically love at first sight for the couple. They’d been dating for several years when they took a weekend trip to The Greenbrier for Alexis’s mother’s birthday. The groom-to-be planned a private proposal at the Summit Lodge overlooking the vast panorama of the Greenbrier County mountainscape.
