CHELSEA ELIZABETH BOSELY & TYLER DRAKE BEATY ROANOKE | 10.26.19
weston-native chelsea and tyler, from philippi, met in 2017, and their relationship as coworkers quickly blossomed into something more. Two years after their first meeting, Tyler enlisted the help of the perfect wingman—his son Noah— for a surprise proposal. Chelsea said yes, and the couple chose Stonewall Resort as the setting for their big day. The bride wore a dazzling V-neck gown with delicate beaded lace overlay, an A-line silhouette, and a chapel-length train. She met the groom at the altar on the patio at Lightburn’s Restaurant at the Palmer Course, where the pair exchanged traditional vows and held a unity tree ceremony. Noah served as ring bearer for the ceremony and wore a navy blue Michael Kors suit just like his dad’s. A reception was held to celebrate the union, and the couple entered the room to “Come and Get Your Love” by Redbone. They joined friends and family in a prayer before enjoying a dinner of Caesar and antipasto salads, roasted asparagus, baked potato casserole, pan-seared salmon, and New York strip. The couple carved a seven-layer carrot cake wedding cake for dessert and gifted attendees with miniature personalized hand-crafted soaps. A night of entertainment and dancing came to an end with the traditional “Take Me Home, Country Roads” sing-along. The couple enjoyed a honeymoon to the Amalfi Coast in Italy, then returned home to Buckhannon, where Tyler works as a civil engineer and Chelsea works as an accountant.
