737. 1957 Topps Complete Set (407)
The 1957 Topps issue was the company’s first foray into “standard” sized cards, and the size they selected remains the standard for trading cards today. The groundbreaking set is still immensely popular among collectors today, due in part to its colorful photography and simplistic design; collectors of high-grade examples have driven prices for such cards into the stratosphere. Presented here is a beautiful midgrade complete set that meets the needs of the passionate collector - a clean, presentable set with a few creases and excessive wear here and there; the cards have been handled but not unreasonably so, and condition issues relate as much to centering as they do to handling. A technical breakdown of the set might be 1% Ex/MT or better, 9% EX, 37% VG/EX, 30% VG, 15% GOOD, and 8% F/P. Ten of the cards have been graded by SGC and one by PSA.
