A CURATED SELECTION OF GREAT CARDS

64. 1957 Topps #328 Brooks Robinson (HOF RC) - SGC NM/MT 8

66. 1969 Topps #500 Mickey Mantle (Last Name in White) - PSA EX 5

This card of legendary Orioles third sacker Brooks Robinson’s rookie from the 1957 Topps set has garnered a well-deserved grade of NM-MT 8 from PSA. With a well-centered image and fantastic registration, this is a worthy Hall of Fame debut of a still-popular ballplayer and Baltimore legend. The back is just as nice as the front. MINIMUM BID: $1,000

The last name in white variation of Mickey Mantle’s final Topps cardjust keeps going up and up in value and popularity, with no real sign of stopping. Two of the corners are sharp, the other two have barely lost their point. With the exception of a small, discolored chip in the upper part of the left border - no doubt one of the two key factors in the grade - the other being the wax or gum stain visible on the reverse. The edges are nice and crisp and the centering is very nice. This is one of the top cards of the 1960’s and a fitting coda to the

Mick’s illustrious career.

65. 1963 Topps #537 Rookie Stars w/ Pete Rose - PSA EX-MT 6

MINIMUM BID: $750

Ken Griffey Jr’s 1989 Upper Deck card remains a generational touchstone. The set introduced hologram technology to the hobby but, more importantly, introduced The Kid to the masses. Immensely popular, it’s all there on this classic “first of the first” Upper Deck card. Griffey’s 630 career home runs, good for 7th on the all time list, are a testament to the explosive power that landed him in Cooperstown. PSA 10 GEM MINT all the way. 67. 1989 Upper Deck #1 Ken Griffey Jr. (HOF) - PSA GEM MT 10 MINIMUM BID: $500

The key to the 1963 Topps set forty years ago and the key now, the Pete Rose rookie card is a perennial “best seller” in the hobby. Interest remains high, no doubt helped by the fateful combination of Rose’s talent, his successful pursuit of Ty Cobb’s all-time hit record and the later infamy from the gambling probe and lifetime suspension. This is a PSA 6 EX-MT example, with very tight corners, with just the slightest tipping seen on a couple. Some light foxing is present and the centering is left and a little down. Color and

registration are superb, there’s no doubt about it.

MINIMUM BID: $500
