SUMMER /SEL ENRICHMENT PROGRAM
Two young men who refused to do anything but cause problems in the sessions became so engaged, that they did the research on the computer of Berry Gordy. They became the hosts for the Motown show and are excited to get back on stage. Their attitudes are completely different and they have embraced their leadership abilities.
Purpose
20% of youth staff were having challenges understanding their purpose in helping their peers and younger students. 100% of the staff demonstrated purpose, conducting open sessions with students and peers, taking leadership control, and empowering others to be ISM staff. The difference in their self- esteem and pride has been amazing! 100 % 20%

Positivity
The Summer Enrichment Program conducted various sessions on building self-esteem and student leadership.
We had one student who was ashamed to come to the mic because he was not able to rap without saying cuss words. He started to understand how to think of more constructive words to use, and was able to rap positively. 90 % 40%
