How do you feel the Thread of Hope Records Program affected the students?
Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) The well-being of our students is a top priority at Thread of Hope Records. We recognize the importance of Social and Emotional Learning, and our programs focus on helping students develop emotional intelligence, empathy, and responsible decision-making. By creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment, we ensure that our students can thrive both academically and emotionally. Multiple Intelligences We celebrate the diversity of intelligence at Thread of Hope Records. By recognizing and valuing the various forms of intelligence, we tailor our teaching methods to cater to individual learning styles and strengths. Through arts integration and personalized instruction, we ensure that all students can thrive and reach their full potential. Character Education At Thread of Hope Records, we believe in nurturing not only academic excellence but also strong character. Through our character education initiatives, we instill values such as honesty, integrity, respect, and responsibility in our students. We strive to create good citizens who contribute positively to their communities and exemplify ethical behavior in all aspects of life. STEAM We are passionate about the arts as a powerful tool for education. At Thread of Hope Records, we integrate the arts into our STEAM approach, creating a holistic and interdisciplinary learning experience. By blending Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics, we promote creativity, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills in our students, preparing them for a future where innovation and collaboration are key. ACEs Framework Understanding the impact of adverse childhood experiences, we are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment for our students. At Thread of Hope Records, we acknowledge the importance of trauma-informed care and incorporate the ACEs Framework into our support systems. By addressing trauma and providing appropriate interventions, we empower our students to heal and thrive, both academically and mentally.
• I saw shy and quiet students come out of their "shell" and perform for an audience. • I have seen students grow in confidence. In the beginning, there were only a few who were brave and willing to speak in front of everyone. Now, there are several who are excited to go in front of the group. • I think this program has done wonders for our students in terms of helping their daily emotional needs. • The students were greatly impacted by the program. The students were able to bring a calm to their classroom. I saw less or no behavior issues. Do you feel the Thread of Hope Records Program helped you as a teacher? If so, how? • I enjoy the morning time encouragement. It puts me in a positive mindset. • From this program I saw myself encouraging students as well as celebrating their accomplishments more too! • It helped me as a teacher by providing songs, affirmations and skits • Yes, I really enjoyed the quality of music. It helped with students being able to express feelings in a positive manner. It helped me feel more inspired and ready to perform my duties as an educator. Would you recommend this program? If so, why? • Yes I think this program should be at every school. • Yes, so uplifting and positive for our students. • Absolutely! This program allows the students to express themselves while discovering their hidden talents
