Overview Today’s leaders have already enjoyed significant career success, but are now operating in an environment where the pace of change requires them to have an even greater ability to understand themselves, inspire others, and to challenge their existing view of the world. The Executive Diploma in Strategic Leadership will help you reach the next level of leadership within volatile, rapidly changing and uncertain contexts, and face an unknown future with increased personal confidence and insight. The programme directly links leadership with strategy, and the personal to the professional. Today, strategy is no longer a top-down activity, but is the responsibility of many people within an organisation, demanding a culture of strategic innovation and openness. In becoming a more strategic leader, you will be able to connect your leadership imperative with the culture and practice of the wider organisation, thereby delivering sustained impact and influence through individuals, teams, and wider business units. As a participant on the Strategic Leadership Executive Diploma, you will receive three high level 1-2-1 executive coaching sessions during your time on the programme. As a senior leader, if you are already receiving executive coaching, we will liaise with your coach to complement the existing sessions you are receiving. How is the programme structured? Your Executive Diploma consists of four modules, each taught over four days at The Shard, London. Alongside lectures and discussions led by our faculty you will also hear first-hand experiences from guest speakers, and your learning will be consolidated through assessments based on real issues in your own workplace.

success in an increasingly complex, volatile and uncertain world and take a deep dive into the concept of agility. Day 3 You’ll explore how leadership is changing in the face of the VUCA world and understand what it takes to build strategic leadership capabilities that are future focused and change oriented. Day 4 You’ll explore the people side of organisational change and the implications for change leaders. This includes gaining a deeper understanding of the human reaction to change and the role of emotions.
