Overview How confident are you in formulating strategy in dynamic and fast-changing environments? The Executive Diploma in Strategy & Innovation is founded on the latest thinking and best practice. We use our strength and reputation in the fields of strategy and innovation to help executives successfully navigate and realise their strategic, organisational and personal potential. During the programme you will learn how to identify and overcome the challenges that companies face when trying to innovate, alongside how to develop new ventures within long or newly-established organisations. You will develop new strategic approaches to company direction and decision-making in order to build successful business models which exploit new opportunities, adopt new approaches to stakeholder management, governance and funding, and develop robust but flexible plans for strategic execution. The Executive Diploma in Strategy & Innovation will enable you to apply what you learn immediately, from conducting a strategy audit to being able to make strategic recommendations with confidence. Your ideas and thinking will be validated through feedback from faculty and your peers, and the programme is designed around application to your own organisation. How is the programme structured? The Warwick Executive Diploma in Strategy & Innovation consists of four modules, each taught over four days at The Shard, London. Alongside lectures and discussion led by our faculty, you will also hear first- hand experiences from guest speakers, and your learning will be consolidated through assessments based on real issues in your own workplace.

Day 1 Delivers a practical guide to strategy while enabling you to develop a detailed understanding of the strategic advantage concept and how it can be applied to your organisation. Day 2 You’ll develop the ability of your organisation to generate and pursue entrepreneurial opportunities, to maintain relevance. Day 3 You’ll be able to explore what needs to be understood when making strategic decisions and the complex and dynamic context in which organisations must make their decisions. Day 4 You’ll explore the challenges of implementing a strategy in an organisation. and learn how to map out an implementation plan across an organisation.
