Overview This course focuses on two of the most crucial ‘people skills’ in modern business: Negotiating with people and leading them. Embark on an immersive programme tailored for leaders navigating the complexities of modern society. Delve into the heart of ethical leadership and the art of negotiation in this dynamic programme, where theory meets real-world practice against the backdrop of behavioural science and leadership principles. Through engaging discussions and insightful case studies, you will gain a deep understanding of how to navigate ethical dilemmas and inspire ethical behaviour within your organisation. Deep dive into the realm of negotiation, where strategy and diplomacy intersect. From mastering the art of persuasion to forging mutually beneficial agreements, you will uncover the secrets to unlocking success in even the most challenging negotiations. How is the programme structured? This Postgraduate Award will run across four days of face-to-face teaching at our London base in The Shard, with a six week window to complete your assignments. You will consolidate your learning through relevant assignments that will provide useful tools to take back to your organisation. The programme will be assessed via the following methods: ■ Reflective essay (50%) ■ Case study (50%)

advanced topics such as effective negotiation styles, the influence of emotions, and the impact of social media. Day 3 This session will focus on effective leadership. This will be broken down to highlight current considerations around decision- making, leadership and cognition, multi-generational leadership and empowerment. Day 4 Focus on the competing demands faced by leaders and how cognitive overload can become a problem. You’ll discuss the importance of listening as we gather information to make decisions.
