Imagine Going There Travel - August 2023

Cherise has been an avid traveler from an early age. Her goal is to see every country in the world in her lifetime, and so far she has hit 31. However, that’s only about 16% of the planet, so she hopes to see that number grow! She currently lives in Sydney, Australia, and loves seeing The Compass readers book trips to Australia and New Zealand! Her favorite country she has ever traveled to was on a family holiday to the South Island of New Zealand, recalling that it was one of the most naturally beautiful places she has ever experienced. You may also remember Cherise from a recent “Tales From our Sails” feature where she shared that she and her sister, Meredith, enjoyed traveling on The Romantic Danube last year. As the youngest passengers on the ship, they soaked up a lot of wisdom! Cherise’s next trip is back to the U.S. to help with our Client Appreciation events for 2023. Stay tuned for a save-the-date email with a special invitation to celebrate our guests who have traveled this year or have reserved a Viking cruise in the future. We’ll be hosting events this fall in Nashville, Charlotte, Charleston, Hilton Head, and Atlanta. We’re looking forward to celebrating with all of our great clients! Team Spotlight: Cherise Shaddix
