Rambert Grades provides Performing Arts Graded Examinations in Contemporary Dance across four levels and eleven grades. Exams are an integral part of the learning process. They mark each student’s progression, assessing progress ahead of the next step in their dance journey as they move confidently to the next grade.
Digital Examinations
Examinations are filmed in groups by the teacher in the students' familiar environment. These recordings are then submitted and each student is individually assessed by a Rambert Grades examiner.
Rewarding Excellence
Rambert Grades recognises each candidate’s achievement with a printed qualification certificate and personalised examination feedback. In addition to this, candidates who complete exams in Creative Movers, Primary and Primary Contemporary Dance receive a bright fabric badge.
Rambert Grades qualifications are recognised by Ofqual. Grades 6, 7, and 8 attract UCAS points, supporting career progression into higher education, even outside of dance. Rambert Grades is the only fully structured contemporary dance examination programme. Our qualifications are recognised and taught at many UK universities. Recognised Qualifications
