ROSSIGNOL advises you to care for your products on a regular basis in order to protect them against wear and tear. The validity of the Rossignol warranty is subject to the proper application of these recommendations.

STEEL The various treatments applied to the steel (primer, hot-dip galvanising, etc.) extend its lifetime and make it resistant to heat, cold and corrosion. The ideal way to clean it is with soap and water. Chlorinated products, hydrocarbons and abrasives should be avoided: any use of such products may invalidate the application of the product warranty. The warranty does not apply to any alteration by scratches or blows. The installation of steel products is not suitable in chlorinated environments (e.g. swimming pools). ALUMINIUM Aluminium is a material that is easy to maintain. The ideal way to clean it is with soap and water. N.B.: Chlorinated products, hydrocarbons and abrasives should be avoided: any use of such products may invalidate the application of the product warranty. SOFTWOOD CERTIFIED "CLASS 4" The treatment system is known as autoclave, arsenic- free, in accordance with new European environmental directives. The treatment impregnates the wood to the core, making it rot-proof: resistant to rotting, insects and fungi. It gives the wood a slightly greenish colour that fades with time. It is recalled that the durability and aesthetic appearance of the wood require regular maintenance, the frequency of which depends on the site and climatic conditions (at least every six months). The customer expressly undertakes to provide proof of such maintenance in the event of a warranty claim.

PLASTIC This material is the easiest to maintain: simply clean with soap and water. NO HIGH-PRESSURE CLEANER : even at low pressure, it damages the protective layer more quickly. OR BLEACH: even if well rinsed, bleach leaves black marks under the effect of the sun. POLYETHYLENE - PE: Rigid plastic with excellent chemical and impact resistance. POLYPROPYLENE - PP: Rigid plastic particularly resistant to outdoor and wet conditions. RECYCLED POLYETHYLENE: Plastic resistant to water, chemicals, chipping, cracking and delamination. RECYCLED POLYPROPYLENE Water, corrosion, chemical, shock and heat resistant plastic up to 100°C. CONCRETE Concrete is most often a single-piece material. It is easy to install on a surface that has been cleaned and cleared. It is highly resistant to temperature variations, bad weather but also to impacts and vandalism. it is easy to maintain: just use soapy water or PH neutral products only. An anti-graffii treatment can be added (subject to quotation - please contact us). Do not use high pressure cleaners.

STAINLESS STEEL A soft cloth or sponge, along with a mild detergent is enough to obtain a perfect result. For brushed surfaces, rub in the direction of the grain. Always wipe the products dry as soon as they are washed. In case of pitting on the surface, the product can be treated with a passivator suitable for stainless steel. The warranty does not apply to pitting of the surface by corrosion points due to lack of maintenance and requiring cleaning with a passivating stripper. The installation of stainless steel products is not suitable in chlorinated environments (e.g. swimming pools). HIGH PRESSURE LAMINATE (HPL) The compact laminate panel (HPL) is the material of excellence for combining durability, maintenance, aesthetics and environmental aspects. UV radiation, bad weather, shock, scratches, abrasion, and burns… nothing stands up to HPL. THE PLUS: It is an anti-graffiti material that leaves no residue or traces. Maintenance instructions: Clean with fresh water using a sponge, finish with a soft cloth. If stains persist, use acetone or white spirit on a perfectly clean soft cloth. Rinse with warm water and finish with a soft cloth. RECYCLED SLATS This material is the easiest to maintain: simply clean with soap and water. No high-pressure cleaner : even at low pressure, it will damage the protective layer more quickly. No bleach: even if well rinsed, bleach leaves black marks under the effect of the sun.
