An aid to demonstrate the phenomenon of transverse and longitudinal waves. Very useful in observation and exploration of such issues connected with a wave as its length, frequency, amplitude, reflection and period. The machine consists of a shaft with a crank at its end. Rotation of the shaft sets the vertical rods with white spots in motion.
