J oseph Martin, Visiting Assistant Professor In addition to serving as visiting assistant professor, Joe serves as General Counsel for the Missouri Division of Credit Unions. Joe received his J.D. and Master of Public Administration from the University of Missouri and completed the Senior Executives in State and Local Government program at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. J acob Owen, Student Support Specialist Jacob is a Student Support Specialist for doctoral students. He assists with course permissions, advising, and course scheduling. Before joining the University of Missouri, he spent time working in admissions, student success, and athletic compliance at other institutions. Jacob earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, and a Master’s in Sport Management. Sarah Lusher, Academic Advisor Sarah is the Academic Advisor for the Truman School of Public Affairs. She also earned her Masters of Education with a focus in School Counseling at the University of Missouri. Before returning to her alma mater, she has done work in the fields of school counseling, special education, and social work Dr. Jennifer Selin, Assistant Professor Jennifer is a Kinder Institute Assistant Professor of Constitutional Democracy. She holds a Ph.D. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from Wake Forest University, and a B.A. from Lebanon Valley College. Previously, Jennifer practiced administrative law and specialized in federal electricity market regulation and alternative energy development, licensing and regulation.
