Luggage If you travel by train, on your arrival at Celtic Manor your luggage will be collected and stored until check in is open. If you’re driving, we suggest leaving luggage in your car until check in is open. Expenses Once at Celtic Manor, you shouldn’t need to buy anything; food, drink and entertainment is included, so unless you want a spa treatment, private golf lesson or anything from the Celtic Manor shop, you’ll be covered. Please note that travel and expenses related to travel such as train fares, mileage, snacks, drinks and lunch cannot be expensed for partners and children. Once they arrive at Celtic Manor partner and family activities and food are covered so they can enjoy an all-inclusive weekend through to Sunday morning. If you have a family member travelling with you to provide childcare, their accommodation and breakfast will be provided, but food and drink will need to be covered by you/them. Family and partner logistics Partners and families are more than welcome to arrive at Celtic Manor with you, or at their own leisure. There is a business centre and plenty of café and restaurant space if they arrive earlier in the day. Please note, families and partners will not be able to gain early access to your allocated room or any of the activities until check in from 4pm. For anyone arriving during Friday daytime, a discount voucher for food during the day on Friday will be available. If families and partners have driven down independently, they should park in the car park of your allocated hotel.

Dress Codes

More information about childcare will be provided to those who request it in the RSVP form. If you have any specific requirements there is also an opportunity to detail this in the RSVP. Other information Code of conduct We look forward to welcoming colleagues and families to this weekend - ultimately, we want everyone to have a great weekend full of fun, however it is a work event. As a reminder of the behaviour expectations our corporate code of conduct will be available on the events website, or can be found on HiBob. Any misconduct will be taken seriously. Misconduct of partners will be the responsibility of their Newton partner. Photography and filming We would like to make you aware that there will be a videographer and photographer at the event who will be capturing the festivities on both Friday and Saturday. If you don’t wish to be filmed or photographed, please let the Events Team know in advance by emailing here . Social media Newton will be sharing posts on LinkedIn, and we encourage you to share, like and add comments around these posts. Whilst we encourage you to share your reflections on the weekend with your comments, please do be aware that clients and the wider Newton network will also see these posts. A good way to think about it is ‘would I be comfortable to present this comment to a client across any of our sectors?’ If in doubt, please check with your cluster marketing team or email here .

Dress codes apply to the following Resort Hotel restaurants: Steak on Six, Celtic Manor: Guests are required to wear smart casual clothing for breakfast and entry will be refused if this is not adhered to. Smart denim is allowed, but ripped denim, shorts, sports trainers, flip flops, baseball hats, rugby or football shirts and tracksuits are not permitted. Tailored shorts are permitted at breakfast. So come along and join us at Celtic Manor for a truly memorable weekend. We are looking forward to seeing you there!

Living the Values Day Smart casual attire. Most importantly, please be comfortable as you’ll be moving around the venue. Whilst the majority of activities will be inside, do bring a jacket in case of rain for our outdoor activities. We will have some (optional) elite running coaching – so pack sports kit if that’s your thing.

Friday evening Casual. A more relaxed evening, so feel free to get your glow on, with bright colours, glow sticks and be ready to party the night away!

Saturday daytime Casual wear and comfy shoes or sportswear and trainers – please pack extra as you may need to have a change of clothes due to weather. Don’t forget hats and sunscreen. Waterproof clothing is likely to be a must – you are in Wales after all. Please refer to the activity lists so you can plan your outfits plus any changes throughout the day you might need. Bring your swimsuit if you plan to use the pool.

Saturday evening Smart. Ultimately, we want you to have a great night and to wear whatever makes you feel your best, but we’d encourage you to wear something you might wear for a Mediterranean summer wedding, a suit or national dress. We will be in the main resort space, with the meal and music inside. There will be some outside elements, but mostly under cover.
