Certified in 2010, Fairware is proud to be a founding member of the Canadian B Corp. B Corps use business as “a force for good” and are certified to meet rigorous standards of social and environmental performance, accountability and trans- parency. There is a growing global community of over 2,400 companies in 50 countries who are actively solving social and environmental problems. We are in the company of great brands like Danone, Patagonia, Ben and Jerry’s and over 150 Canadian businesses. We are required to re-certify every three years, which keeps us on our toes, striving to improve. It’s a great framework for identifying and monitoring progress.
