POLICIES
Paid Time Off (PTO) PTO is a benefit for our full-time Team Members that combines vacation time, sick time and personal time under one umbrella. PTO will accrue at the rate of 1/12 th per month and will be available for use following successful completion of 6 months of employment, unless otherwise required by law. PTO must be requested electronically through Dayforce and approved as far in advance as possible with a minimum of 30 days before the requested day(s) off. The Company has the right to refuse a Team Member’s request for PTO if the requested time conflicts with the operation of the Company’s business. For Team Members who call in sick or take a personal day off and have accrued PTO available, a Manager must submit a PTO request for the time missed. Team Members who have completed 6 months of employment may be advanced up to 5 days of their unaccrued PTO, at the discretion of the Company. If employment is terminated voluntarily or involuntarily, the Company will take any advanced unaccrued PTO payments out of the Team Member’s final check, subject to applicable law. In order to receive PTO, Team Members must work their complete scheduled workday before the PTO begins and their complete scheduled workday after PTO ends. An exception may be made if a Team Member presents a note from their physician that confirms injury/ illness on the day in question. Hourly Team Members should not perform any work while on PTO. PTO may not be used once a Team Member has resigned or as part of a notice of resignation period, unless expressly required by state or local law. Team Members on a paid leave of absence (PLOA) or Family and Medical Leave (FMLA) will be required to use any accrued PTO concurrent with the first day of leave. Team Members on a medical PLOA due to an injury on the job will not be required to use PTO, but may elect to do so. Team Members on a PLOA or FMLA do not accrue PTO while on the leave.
