2025 Crown Team Member Handbook

POLICIES

Theft Policy The Company has zero tolerance for theft or dishonesty. Team Members involved in any form of theft are subject to termination, as well as criminal prosecution. Examples include, but are not limited, to the following. • Failing to install all parts charged out on a repair order. • Taking a Team Member’s property without their knowledge and/or permission. • Reporting that you have performed service or other work which you have not performed. • Removing parts or equipment from vehicles taken in trade including those to be wholesaled. • Failing to return all Guest lists when leaving the Company. • Stealing money or merchandise. Timekeeping Under federal law, any Team Member, including commissioned, hourly, and flag rate Team Members of the Company, other than exempt Managers, are required to keep an accurate record of his or her hours worked each day. Non-exempt Team Members are required to clock in upon arrival of their shift and clock out at the end of their shift. Non-exempt Team Members must also clock out before beginning any meal period and clock in before returning after any meal period. If you have any questions about whether you are exempt or non-exempt, talk to your HR Manager. Non-exempt Team Members are not to perform any work that is not recorded by the time system. For example, non-exempt Team Members must not check work emails or take work-related phone calls or texts “off the clock.” If you are asked or instructed by anybody in the Company to perform work “off the clock” (in other words, perform work without reporting it on the time system), you are directed to refuse. Make sure you record all of your work time using the standard time recording system. Also, if you are asked to work “off the clock,” you must immediately report the situation by utilizing the Company’s Team Member Complaint Procedure, which is contained in this Handbook. Finally, if you contend you have not been paid accurately for all hours you have worked, please utilize the Company’s Team Member Complaint Procedure, which is contained in this Handbook to report your concerns. Team Members who leave the Company during the day, for a meal, or at the end of a shift are expected to check with a Manager before leaving. Every Team Member is expected to take at least a 30-minute meal break during an 8-hour shift. You should be completely relieved of your duties during this meal break. Non-Exempt Team Members are required to clock out at mealtime and any other time they leave the Company premises for non-business reasons. If circumstances occur that you are not able to take your 30-minute uninterrupted meal break in which you were completely relieved of your duties, you should adjust your time entry in your time record to show that you did not take any meal break, and you will be credited for working the entire 30-minute meal break. Subject to applicable state law, any other breaks or rest periods must be approved by a Manager and are not accounted for in timekeeping. Your Manager must be notified of any changes or corrections needed to a time record. Team Members may never clock another Team Member in or out. Any attempt to falsify time or failure to record time correctly will result in disciplinary action, up to and including termination of your employment.

73 No policy should be construed to confer any express or implied contractual relationship or rights to any Team Member. The Company reserves the right to modify any policy as necessary, in its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law. Violation of any Company policies or procedures can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment. If you have any questions about this handbook or Company policies, please feel free to discuss with your Manager or HR.
