Time Clock Policy
• Hourly team members may only clock in from their store using an Asbury computer on the network. Role-specific exemptions may apply. • All hourly team members with a company-issued laptop may clock in from their company-issued laptop anywhere via VPN. • No hourly team members may clock in using the Dayforce mobile app. Role- specific exemptions may apply for team members who need to clock in off- network.
Tobacco Use Policy Team Members are prohibited from smoking or using tobacco in Company facilities. This includes vapor tobacco (e-cigarettes) products. Smoking is never allowed within 50 feet of flammable or combustible liquid storage areas, or spray finishing or painting operations. All under-roof areas of the Company’s facilities are considered to be designated as non-smoking. Team Members who wish to smoke may do so in designated areas outside the facilities and away from all public entrances. The Company does not provide “smoke breaks” and Team Members must not let smoking interfere with their work. Smoking is never permitted in Company or Guest vehicles. It is required that all Team Members wash their hands after smoking. Team Members’ first day of employment begins with an Orientation. The time spent in Orientation will be added to your time clock and you will be paid according to your pay plan. Team Members paid a weekly salary or draw amount will receive no additional pay for attending HR Orientation. Commissioned or technical Team Members who perform services that generate an individual commission on their first day of work are entitled to that pay. Off Site Training Programs Special training programs are designed to upgrade performance and educate Team Members about new and improved products along with methods of servicing and selling these products. If authorized in advance and required by your Manager, the Company will pay for all tuition fees, and reasonable costs for transportation, lodging and meals. Reimbursement will be made upon presentation of receipts. Arrangements may be made for travel expense advances when needed. The Company will also pay Team Members for each day of training the same amount as PTO pay. Training Pay Orientation
74 No policy should be construed to confer any express or implied contractual relationship or rights to any Team Member. The Company reserves the right to modify any policy as necessary, in its sole discretion, to the extent permitted by law. Violation of any Company policies or procedures can result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.
