Opening doors to future careers in construction. Empowering the next generation of builders.
Overall, the Build-A-World Girls Construction Camp continues to be a meaningful initiative, offering young women an intro- duction to an industry eager to welcome them. These camps are an invaluable workforce develop- ment opportunity—not only help- ing students envision their future careers but also strengthening the construction industry by pro- moting diversity and inclusion. We extend heartfelt thanks to all the women in the industry who came out to support, as well as to the many employees and mem- ber companies who made this year’s camps possible. Workforce development remains a top prior- ity at AGC of Utah, and programs like this help ensure the next
generation knows that construc- tion offers rewarding, impactful careers with the opportunity to help build Utah’s future. If you’re interested in sponsoring, volunteering, presenting, or pro- viding equipment for next year’s Build-A-World Girls Construction Camp, please reach out to Annie Farner, Workforce Development Specialist at AGC of Utah, for more information. Thank you again to all our spon- sors and volunteers—we couldn’t do it without you!
An inspirational event that gets these girls excited about construc- tion and their futures.
